Can it reach the end of a closed (non-through) hole?

Yes — at 160mm long it's built to reach the far end of non-through holes, the exact spot where moisture hides and a fingertip or cloth can't reach.

Is it reusable, and how do I maintain it?

Yes. After use, make sure the tunnel is dry, then dry the stick itself thoroughly in a ventilated spot before storing. Never soak it — diatomite is the absorbent, and saturating it with water ruins its performance.

Will the slim rod snap inside the toy?
