Can I leave it in while the toy sits on the shelf?

No. Always remove the stick after drying and store the two separately. Leaving it inserted lets the diatomite keep pulling oils out of the TPE/silicone, shortening the toy's life.

How do I recharge or clean the stick itself?

You don't wash it — just stand it upright in a ventilated spot out of direct sunlight after each use. In humid weather, set it near a window or air vent. Once dry, it absorbs like new.

Will it fit my onahole's tunnel?

At 170mm long with a tapered tip and up to 22mm diameter, it fits the vast majority of standard-size onaholes. For unusually narrow tunnels, use the slimmer A-ONE Slim Dry Stick instead.

How long does one stick last?

Indefinitely with basic care — it's a solid diatomite rod, not a consumable. Replace it only if it chips, cracks from a drop, or stops absorbing after years of use.

Details

The everyday essential of onahole care. The SSI Japan DNA Dry Stick Standard is a 170mm diatomaceous earth rod that pulls trapped moisture out of a washed tunnel in under a minute — no turning the toy inside out, no tissues shedding fibers, no waiting hours for air-drying.

The simple, proven drying routine

170mm long, up to 22mm thick — reaches the back of full-size tunnels
Tapered tip — easy, gentle insertion without forcing
Diatomaceous earth — safe natural material with overwhelming absorption, also used in bath mats and coasters
Uncolored — no dye, no color transfer to your toy
Fully reusable — shade-dry after each use, reuse indefinitely

How to use it

Wash and shake off excess water, insert the stick, then lightly massage the toy from the outside so the inner walls touch the rod. Remove after 30–60 seconds and stand the stick up to air-dry. Got a heavily ribbed tunnel? The DNA Dry Stick Spiral twists into texture; a very tight tunnel fits the A-ONE Slim Dry Stick better. Product FAQs

30–60 seconds per insertion is enough — diatomaceous earth absorbs fast. Repeat once or twice if the tunnel is long. Never leave it in overnight: it will absorb the toy's natural oils and degrade both the stick and the material.
