No authentication is required. Headers: Content-Type: application/json; Idempotency-Key: a unique 8-128 character request key (reuse only for an identical retry).
Replace the placeholder with the user-selected variant_id; quantity must be 1-5, up to 10 distinct items. Request body:
```json
{"country":"ca","locale":"en-CA","items":[{"variant_id":"variant_REPLACE_WITH_USER_SELECTED_VARIANT","quantity":1}]}
```
On success, return checkout_url to the user. The link expires after 48 hours and does not reserve prices or stock. The user must open it, review and confirm the cart, and complete payment. The same authorized browser can resume an adopted cart for up to 7 days from preparation; an expired unclaimed link needs renewed user purchase intent before a new operation, never automatic cart creation. Agents must not submit orders or payment data.
Retry the same key and body after transient failures or request_in_progress. If checkout_result_unknown is returned, stop automatic retries and ask the user to verify; never switch to a new key. Duplicate prevention depends on retained operation state for up to 7 days; Redis data loss or eviction can remove this protection.
If user authorization is enabled, shipping_preference_token may reference a saved default address explicitly authorized by the user. Do not send a raw address. Keep preference/status tokens private and out of URLs. A returned status token requires separate user consent on the handoff page before read-only status access; address/status grants never authorize order submission or payment.

## Summary

> Soft as a lover’s touch—MILD gently envelops you in comfort and care.

## Description

> Of TENGA's three hole-lotion viscosities, MILD is the gentle one: a dense, medium-high-viscosity, water-based formula that envelops rather than slicks past, with moisturizing ingredients that keep it from drying out mid-session. It is made for slow, unhurried strokes — and for beginners or sensitive skin that want comfort over intensity.
> Designed around the bottle
> One-way no-drip valve — lotion flows only when squeezed; no stringing, no spills
> Elongated nozzle — reaches deep into TENGA cups and other tunnels for precise, one-handed application
> Softer squeeze bottle — easier pressure control than the older design
> 170 ml (221 g) — water-based, no added fragrance per its ingredient list, rinses clean with no residue
> Pairs with everything
> It is tuned for TENGA cups but works with any quality TPE or silicone toy that calls for water-based lube. For extra-long sessions, reapply — or add a few drops of water to revive the glide. Browse more TENGA essentials in lubricants .

## FAQ

### What is the difference between MILD and TENGA's other lotions?

> TENGA's hole lotion comes in three viscosities for different feels. MILD is the dense, medium-high-viscosity option — gentle, enveloping, and best for slow movements. The thinner formulas in the series are built for faster strokes and more intense texture feedback, but they can also leak out of the toy more easily.

### How does the no-drip valve work?

> The bottle has a one-way valve at the nozzle: lotion only dispenses while you squeeze, and the flow stops cleanly when you release — no stringing threads of lube, no drips onto the nightstand. Combined with the long nozzle, it makes one-handed application into a cup tunnel genuinely mess-free.

### Can I use it with non-TENGA toys?

> Yes. While it is optimized for the interior of TENGA cups, the water-based, skin-friendly formula is compatible with most quality TPE or silicone toys. As with any lube, avoid pairing water-based lotion needs with silicone-based lubes on silicone toys.

### Is TENGA LOTION MILD fragranced?

> No added fragrance — the published ingredient list (water, glycerin, hydroxyethylcellulose, sodium polyacrylate, disodium EDTA, phenoxyethanol, methylparaben) contains no perfume, which suits sensitive skin and discreet use.

### How long does a 170 ml bottle last?

> TENGA suggests roughly one teaspoon to one tablespoon per session depending on toy size, so a bottle covers dozens of sessions. Store it upright with the cap closed after each use; if the lotion starts to dry during a long session, a few drops of water revive it.
